Title: Finance Clerk - Accounts Receivable

Salary: $13.45


FINANCE CLERK/Accounts Receivable* (Finance Department): Performs basic finance support duties including processing of accounts receivable following standard accounting procedures and established guidelines, invoice billing, payment posting, AR customer payments monitoring, as well as aging balances, reports, and reconciliations.  Processes EFT and check payments on a regular basis, accurately posting payments to appropriate departments or funds. Assists other departments with billing and payment inquiries. Communicates with departments and customers as necessary on payment issues.  May assist with other departmental/accounting functions as needed.


  • High school Diploma / GED
  • One (1) year of specialized/technical training
  • One (1) year of experience in A/R or accounting support
  • Knowledge of general ledger reporting techniques and  mathematical concepts
  • Excellent computer, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license 

*Candidates considered for this position will be given a practical examination to   demonstrate the required level of computer proficiency.
