Salary: $12.03 hr

Administrative Clerk (Board of Voter Registration & Elections):  Provide administrative support of federal, state, and local elections in accordance with federal law, state law, and local ordinances. Assists with all voter registration and election activities.


Minimum Requirements: 

  • High school graduate and three (3) years office administration experience OR Associates degree and one (1) year office administration
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to type
  • Must obtain and maintain valid SC Election Commission certification within eighteen (18) months of employment
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Previous elections or Poll Worker experience desired



All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment. Employment is contingent upon clearing both the drug screening and background investigation.
