CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (Engineering):  Manages and directs the planning, scheduling and oversight of all construction projects/inspections. Develops and administers construction, architecture/engineering (A/E) and technical services contracts.  Communicates with contractors and consultants providing assistance and resolving conflicts. Consults with County officials as needed regarding contracts.  Responds to questions and requests for information regarding projects.  Maintains detailed records on all construction projects and insures construction practices comply with contract provisions.  Attends public forums and meetings as needed.  Assists with other departmental functions as needed.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
·       Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
·       Ten years of progressively responsible experience pertaining to design or execution of construction projects
·       Excellent oral/written communication/presentation skills
·       Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license
