Title: Administrative Assistant - EMS - PART TIME

Salary: $13.06 hr


ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/Part Time (EMS): Under limited supervision, performs financial and administrative duties for Emergency Medical Services.  Duties include, but are not limited to, customer service, coordination of the Set-Off Debt Program with the SC Dept. of Revenue, data analysis and generation of various reports, payment processing, file maintenance, processing accounts payable, initiating work orders, monitoring and ordering supplies and assisting the director with various projects as needed. 


  • High School diploma or equivalent/Associates degree preferred
  • Computer literate with demonstrable proficiency in Excel and Word
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible bookkeeping/accounting experience (experience with medical insurance billing strongly preferred)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in performance of duties
  • Grant writing experience a plus
