Add Calendar Subscription to Outlook (Microsoft Surface and Windows PC)

  1. Click the link for the Internet Calendar Subscription.  You might be prompted to acknowledge that you are opening a hyperlink. You should click Yes only if you know and trust the validity of the linked calendar.
  2. At the prompt, Add this Internet Calendar to Outlook and subscribe to updates, click Yes.

    The Internet Calendar opens in side-by-side view in the Outlook Calendar and is added to the Navigation Pane in Calendar view under Other Calendars. The calendar will check periodically for any updates made by the calendar publisher.

Add Calendar Subscription to Outlook for Mac (Mac/OSX)

  1. Log in to OWA at https://owa.bcgov.net and click the Calendar button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Locate and right-click or Control-click Other Calendars in the navigation pane on the left. Choose Add Calendar.
  3. Choose Calendar from the Internet, and enter 'webcal://www.bcgov.net/calendar.ics' as the Calendar URL.  Click OK.  

    The calendar will now be included in Outlook for Mac.  You may have to toggle its visibility to on inside Outlook for Mac.  

Add Calendar Subscription to iCal (Mac/OSX):

  1. On your computer running OSX, click the link for the Internet Calendar Subscription.
  2. After clicking on the link, you will be prompted to Subscribe to the calendar. Click Subscribe and follow further instructions on your screen to add the web calendar to your Calendar application.
  3. Note that it may take a few minutes for the events to show in the calendar.

Add Calendar Subscription to your iPad or iPhone:

  1. On your iPad or iPhone, click the link for the Internet Calendar Subscription.
  2. After clicking on the link, you will be prompted to Subscribe to the calendar. Click Subscribe and follow further instructions on your screen to add the web calendar to your Calendar application.
  3. Note that it may take a few minutes for the events to show in the calendar.

Add Calendar Subscription to Google Calendar Account

Log in to your Google Calendar and follow these steps:

  1. Click the down-arrow next to Other calendars.
  2. Select Add by URL from the menu.
  3. Enter the address "webcal://www.bcgov.net/calendar.ics" in the field provided.
  4. Click Add calendar. The calendar will appear in the Other calendars section of the calendar list to the left.

Note: It may take up to 8 hours for changes in ICS feeds to reflect in your Google Calendar.
